Due to several factors, On May 25th, we will return to our regular schedule with all of the classes. The health measures will still be in place.

In order to have success, your cooperation will be very important. We must minimize overcrowded buses and to continue practicing Social Distancing. Parents who have transportation are kindly asked to drop off your child at the school and pick them backup. To avoid any traffic congestion, please be on time.

Once your child comes to the school, they will be met at the gate where they will be given hand sanitizer. From there, they will go straight to their classroom and to their seat.

Most classes will have a different break. To ensure Health Safety, School Breakfast and Lunch will not be given. Please ensure that your child eat a proper breakfast before coming to school. Also make sure that your child walks with their water bottle and their lunch. Sacred Heart School will be carrying out the different measures that were given to us by The Public Health Doctor.

– Hand hygiene (washing the hand as frequently as possible).

– Organizing different breaks, different play areas, not more than 25 Students.

– Ventilating the classrooms every hour for 5 minutes.

– Anyone showing any flu like symptoms, send them home or have the parent pick up the child.

– Parents and other adults are not allowed to enter the school compound unless it is an emergency and they must come to the office first. Delivery of goods and items are permitted only.

– Having someone stationed at the bathrooms.

– Frequent cleaning of door handles, desks, etc.

If your child suffers from serious health issues, please contact the Health doctor to find out if you child should be in school. If this is not allowed, then zoom classes will be provided.

Once again, your cooperation is highly appreciated and by us working together, we can ensure that our students will have a safe and healthy teaching environment.

Sincerely,

Diane Wilson

Remedial/Special Ed. SHS

Teacher Helen took Shubert, the endearing lightning bug from Conscious Discipline to her Zoom classes.

Shubert talked to the student about the reason why they are home and not in school. Shubert told the students to Stay Safe, Healthy, and Strong!

Stay home and remember the rules: “Wash your hands with soap after using the bathroom, eating, playing outside, and coughing and sneezing.

Don’t forget, whenever you cough or sneeze do this in your elbow.

Keep social distancing!

The students enjoyed Shubert’s company during classes.

Shubert is reminding all students to be a S.T.A.R.

Smile, Take a deep breath and Relax whenever you need to.
